When I was employed by a Big Six firm, I enjoyed the opportunities to see many types of companies and industries. I was exposed to a variety of accounting system controls and processes. In some cases, I was able to suggest improvements to those systems and processes; these were some of my favorite experiences. I have been able to expand this ability during my time in the private sector.

My experiences include:

• Updating a fixed asset system to produce more comprehensive data
• Implementing a new system which fed payables data into the general ledger
• Restating historical financial statements to reflect an accounting method change
